I am taking Thursdays to share a brief message about therapy. There are alot of people who think that therapy is something only for someone else…someone with more problems, less problems, more money, more “Americanized”, less part of their own culture, and on and on. I am taking this moment to say this: Therapy is for everyone and anyone. It isn’t just “talking”, it can be a lot of different things depending on what you want/need and what your therapist is trained to do… it can include talking, crying, laughing, drawing, dancing, yoga, breathing, walking, etc…. The “magic” happens when you connect with your therapist and then the work begins…. So even if you thought therapy is just not for you, it can be!
