Summer “officially” begins on June 21st with the summer solstice, which is the longest day of the year. The day when the sun is hopefully shining brightly upon us all day long. It is the official kick off to summer. With all of this time, sometimes we want to find interesting activities. One of my favorite activities is to read a good book or listen to a podcast. The great thing about podcasts is that they are easy to push into your daily routine. You can listen to one during your commute to work/school, a long road trip, during a lunch break or even while you are taking a walk or shower. Also, if you are in a particular mood that you would like to shift, for example if you are feeling anxious or angry, you can have a few podcasts ready to listen to in order to funnel some of that energy in a different way. I have various favorites that I have shared with both clients and personal friends over the years, so here are my recommendations for all of you. I have an eclectic taste in terms of interests, so I will categorize them here.
Short, sweet and thought provoking podcasts: These are all less than 40 minutes long but full of both narrative and thought provoking information.
